Fred Bumaye, Writer/Director

An award winning independent creative, Fred Bumaye has brought his unique brand of storytelling to a variety of networks including BET, Bravo, The CW, Fuse, HBO, NBCUniversal, OWN, Oxygen & Travel Channel. In addition to promotional campaigns, he’s also helmed commercials and co-branded content for brands such as Microsoft, Paramount, Sprite & Toyota, as well as PSAs for nonprofits like the Goodwill.
A versatile filmmaker, Fred has both a flair for the dramatic and an uncanny sense of comedic timing. Armed with this multifaceted creative aesthetic, he's able to craft thirty seconds into cinematic experiences.

Mekia Cox, Actress

Mekia Cox is currently known for her role as Detective Nyla Harper in ABC’s The Rookie. She’s also been seen acting in a multitude of other tv shows including Chicago Med, Once Upon A Time, Secrets and Lies, and many more, as well as dancing in Michael Jackson’s This Is It tour/documentary. Mekia’s talents far exceed what has been captured on screen.

With a Bachelor of Music Degree in Musical Theatre and two national Broadway tours under her belt (“Fame” and “Smoke Joe’s Café”) she is sharing her passion for the stage with world. Alongside her own production company, Little Man Productions, she and her team produce, host and perform at “Broadway at the W,” a stage show that highlights the best performances in Broadway with appearances from some of the top names in entertainment.

Yanik Archer, Creative Director at Oxygen Media

Yanik has 15+ years’ experience in content creation, bringing together a proven knowledge of strategy, vision, communication, and leadership with an emphasis on global entertainment brands. As a lead Creative Director at Oxygen Media, he partners with other departments to create strategic initiatives that generate revenue for the network. He is also responsible for conceptualizing and executing vision for all on and off-air creative that streamlines with the networks mission statement. Works hand in hand with outside agencies to optimize creative and develop brand centric 360 promotional strategies, and partnered with Trollback, a branding agency, on the network re-brand and helped conceptualize the overall look of the design and manage the transition from millennial to true crime programming.
