The PA Drone Association and Harrisburg University are pleased to announce that our "Drones in Construction and Engineering" event will be held in-person at Harrisburg University from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm on November 18.
The event will consist of three sessions on a variety of UAS-related topics, a networking session and a catered lunch. Whether you have an existing drone program or are wanting to implement a new one, this event is perfect for you. The overall purpose of this event is to facilitate professional relationships between the UAS industry and the construction/engineering industry. This is a great opportunity for representatives and observers from both industries to communicate with one another in an educational environment and partake in a growing national conversation about this rapidly expanding new technology.
Proposed session topics include:
The Case for Drones in Construction (preplanning/surveying, client communication, safety, progress monitoring, productivity and accountability)
Considerations for Implementation (developing internal programs, training/certification, insurance, software)
Emerging Technologies (artificial intelligence, software/sensor upgrades)
