Executive Director, Center for Advanced Entertainment and Learning Technologies
Charles Palmer is passionate about the possibilities of today’s technology and uses it to bring education and science alive for his students. A creative educator and producer, Palmer uses HU’s “synthetic interview” lab—one of only two in the country—to introduce students to speech recognition technology, allowing students to create interviews with entertainment, sports, and political figures, both living and deceased. With professors like Charles Palmer, students learn on a level that other universities can only aspire to achieve.
